Geek Girl Roxy Lee looks awesome as Green Lantern and here's what she had to say about it...

"Ok so this cosplay was not one that I made, bought or owned. My really good friend Jenn Marvel and I were attending Atomic Lollipop one year together to work the Cosplay for a Cure booth and I had no new costumes to wear. I felt like doing something different, something I probably would never do and Jenn is just the girl to go to as she has a ton of superhero cosplays and I personally do not cosplay as superheros, ever haha. So I thought why not! It is fun and let's see how I look. She let me borrow her Green Lantern that she made and it fit me perfectly by chance! It also helped that she had the mask and I had the adhesive and makeup to set the look. I then just wore my natural hair and thought HEY I kinda look like Cary Wren, therefore the Cary Wren GL look was born. I know she has short hair but I figured it would be an inspired by more so than a replica. The one sexier shot was actually by an accident that turned out to be really cool. I was zipping down the suit mid shooting to cool down and the photographer snapped a photo and said WAIT A MINUTE THAT LOOKS AWESOME DO IT AGAIN! Thus the kind of cheeky GL was born hehe.

Having fun in cosplay does NOT always mean you are making things from scratch, sometimes it is just enjoying doing something out of your comfort zone for the fun of it. Also thanks Jenn for jumping in the shot with your amazing Supergirl cosplay, we had fun shooting together, tons of laughs were shared, we can never take one another seriously!"
