Boudoir Elsa Cosplay

Geek Girl Princess Nightmare looks absolutely gorgeous as Elsa from Frozen in this boudoir style photoshoot! Here's what she had to say about the concept...

"The idea for this started as a bit of a joke. When I tried on the Elsa costume and saw how short the shirt was what started as a 'let's be silly' ended up a 'well I can work with this!' The shirt itself goes under a corset so it did not affect the overall costume (which is stunning as an aside!)  and that set will also be posted soon. However it gave me a chance to see how something different could turn out. Any of you who have been on my page for a while know I don't particularly like the idea of making characters sexy or revealing when that is not the character-with the exception of when it was my job to create characters of the sort for a comic company I worked with. I am very self conscious and I am not a fan sex up or slutify characters. I tend to be more of a detail oriented type and stray from the 'make it sexy' which has absolutely caused me to lose many facebook followers in the past. Many of you also know I tend to shy away from pin up or boudoir sets because of my Zoolander-ness 'One Look' is usually 'concerned' and although that works fantastically for things like Sword of Truth and Game of Thrones...it does not exactly work for the more sexy shots...barring concerned pretty much the only look I've got is evil while again fantastic for Bellatrix and others in my long list of black fantasy gowns...again not quite suitable for 'sexy' anything. However, I decided to give this one a shot. So this is really really out of the norm for me. In this costume a shot in pieces...creative moment...and this shoot I wanted to make sure that even if I was on the sexy spectrum I wanted it to be classy and still in some way fit the character...I don't know if I succeeded but I hope I did. I think the resulting photos came out beautifully...with only one problem...now I want my hair and eyes to really look like that!! Even though this is not my typical style and I am completely self conscious in these types of shoots, photo the first is rapidly becoming one of my favorite photos of all time of me...partially because when I look at it I can't even believe it IS me! Thanks again to Mandy the miracle worker! And of course, as always, one of my Drabbit's needed to make an appearance because he is much cuter than I am! (Purple contacts photoshopped blue, I don't have blue ones but the resulting effect I think is quite an amazing color!) Fully costumed Elsa photos will be posted soon as well."
