Witchblade Cosplay

 

La Esmeralda looks positively stunning cosplaying as Witchblade! Here's what she had to say about it...

"Cosplaying Sara Pezzini from the Witchblade Comics was a project that means a lot to me because I love the comics and her character so much. It was the most time consuming costume I ever made, I spent round about 100 hours creating it. So I was super happy that I could shoot it with one of my favourite photographers / photoshop artists: Lilif Ilane. She usually is my first choice when it comes to cosplay and painted the perfect backgrounds for this series.

It is a left handed witchblade because I thought it would be handy to be able to use my right hand and not ruin the witchblade glove with touching things at conventions. And even though most cosplayers go for something more revealing I decided to wear jeans as she also does that in the comics sometimes. Since the armor is organic I made kind of my own version and mixed elements from the comics with my own ideas - and I think this costume might grow and get a few additional parts in future."
