Geek Girls Evie E and Shelle-chii look amazing cosplaying as warrior versions of Disney Princesses Cinderella and Ariel from The Little Mermaid! Here's what they had to say about it...

Evie-E: “Cinderella is my all-time favorite Disney Princess and when Shelle-chii came up with the idea to do warrior princesses but to make them Keyblade/Kingdom Hearts warriors I knew I had to do Cinderella. I made “The Stroke of Midnight” to go with the costume since it’s a Keyblade that is in the games and is based off of the Cinderella story, and the outfit was based off of the servant clothes Cinderella wears in her animated movie since I thought that that outfit would work better to make into a warrior design then her huge ball gown.“

Shelle-Chii: “Ariel has always been my favorite Disney princess. I don't have the sewing skills yet to make any of her dresses, and a dream of a proper mermaid tail kept me from doing her. Until I came up with an idea to merge the princess concepts with Kingdom Hearts, as if the princesses were fighting. Making the armor was difficult, but definitely rewarding for all the little tedious details like scales and hand placed sequins. The Keyblade proved to be quite the challenge to me as well, as I had never tackled something with so much dimension before. It wasn't a typical Keyblade, the blade part was a wave, so I had to work a little outside of my known materials to make it. Nothing some online tutorials can't teach! I'm so glad that Evie joined me in this crazy idea, the costumes both turned out really nice. Of course Evie sewed the pants for me, but the rest of this cosplay was fun to make and wear!”
