The Morrigan Cosplay
Ricochet Cosplay looks incredible as The Morrigan from The Wicked + The Divine, from Image Comics! Here's what she said about it...
"I love being a fan and finding stories and characters to love. Image Comics and fan art from comics and movies have been my biggest inspirations lately. I love discovering brand new characters from writers and artists at the height of their creativity, then putting my own spin on them and bringing them to life!
The Morrigan is a character in the new comic The Wicked + The Divine, which is about deities from a bunch of different mythologies who are reincarnated into the bodies of teenagers today. They live, they inspire, they die within two years. The second arc just started and it's SO exciting!! The Morrigan is based on the Celtic goddess of war and death. As WicDiv writer Kieron Gillen says, there is none more goth than she! I highly recommend the comic, and the first paperback collection just came out, so you can catch up quickly! A huge thank you to the people who helped me put this costume together. My mother taught me to sew when I was young, and I get a lot of help from my sister, Courtney Leigh, who makes her living with cosplay commissions. My photographer, Tony Julius, was kind enough to make time for me at Phoenix Comicon Fan Fest to take these photos and edit them afterwards. They turned out beautifully!"
