Spider-Woman Body Paint

Geek Girl Shelle-chii teamed up with the talented ArtistiCurves again to do this epic Spider-Woman body paint photoshoot! They even did a shot inspired by Milo Manara's controversial "Spider-Woman" #1 variant cover and here's what she had to say about it...

"Almost everyone in the geek community knows about this controversy, the Manara cover variant of the new Spider Woman comic. While this was going on, I was trying to think up ideas for a body paint, and this one came to mind. It was definitely an easy one to pull off, especially compared to some of our previous works like the Female Titan body paint. I posted a little writeup on my page accompanying the post of the cover we tried to re-create, and I think it says really well how I feel on the whole subject:

"As a woman, I was personally not bothered by this cover. Sure, it's impossible for any human to physically BE in that position (see 3-d rendering of the original pose) but we're reading friggen comic books, why do we expect realism?! Kind of silly if you ask me. Especially because this wasn't even the original cover, it was just an alternate, so you weren't forced to buy it!

On another note, though, I would like to point out that this photo is very much manipulated to match this cover. We did this as satire, and I would like to state that I am very much against Photoshopping someones body in this manner and expect people to think its real. My body does not look like this, at all, and we just did this for fun. I love this shot so much and hope you like it too"

I also did a behind the scenes video that shows some cool extras from the shoot if you wanted to check it out, here it is:"
