Gamora from Guardians of the Galaxy Cosplay

 

Dex Morgan looks totally badass cosplaying as Gamora from the Guardians of the Galaxy movie! The body paint, props and costume are all epic, here's what she had to say about it...

"This was the first time I had ever started a costume BEFORE the movie had released. That proved to be an interesting set of challenges - having to scour the internet for clips, trailer screens caps and pre-release figurines. But I really really wanted to be Gamora for FanExpo. I’m incredibly happy with how it came out and my accessories and sword were my favourite parts.

The highlight of my costume was my Sony Walkman build. I made it in 2 nights entirely out of EVA foam and Worbla. There is a slot in the back that I can slide my iPhone into, a fake hole to plug the headphones into, and the front Velcro's off so I can switch the paper cassette in the window. Everyone at the con thought it was real... especially while I was running around blasting the Awesome Mix from a hidden bluetooth speaker! Guardians Dance Party!"
