Tifa Lockhart from FFVII Cosplay

 

Audrey Vashchenko aka Charming Devil Cosplay looks beautiful as Tifa Lockhart from Final Fantasy VII in these photos by Elysium Photography! Here's what she had to say about her cosplay...

"I’ve always loved and looked up to Tifa Lockhart as a role model for the woman I always strive to be. I instantly felt drawn to her as a character I could easily relate to yet someone I could learn from as well. Being empathetic and perceptive to other’s feelings, she is always willing to lend a listening ear to those willing to share their grief and anguish. She’s caring and compassionate, every inch the nurturing mother figure to her teammates and strangers alike. However she often struggles with her own feelings and how to express them openly. She’s experienced many hardships in her past and initially joins up with the rebel group AVALANCHE to seek revenge for the wrongs inflicted upon her during her childhood. However as time wears on she realizes revenge isn’t the answer and will only bring about more grief, thus deciding instead to help others with their past demons and the nightmares that haunt them. Tifa is a strong woman with a fiery passion for ending the wrongs in the world and keeps fighting to protect those she cares about but never forgets that kindness is sometimes a stronger weapon than your fists. She will always be one of my favorite characters, both in and out of cosplay, and I hope one day I will become just as strong, confident, and compassionate, someone others can look up to as an icon of the change we wish to see in the world."
