Black Canary Cosplay

 

Comic Girl Cosplay looks beautiful as Black Canary! ♥ This is a very personal shoot due to heartbreaking circumstances and has a beautiful and deep meaning behind it. Read about her love for the character and the story behind it here...

"Black Canary has always been such a strong, tough woman, but she's also hasn't been afraid to be emotionally vulnerable. I was supposed to do this shoot a year ago, but a dear friend of mine who was involved in the shoot passed away on the day of the shoot. When the idea came around to finally get back around to doing the shoot, I really wanted to incorporate my friend who is no longer with us. There was one comic panel in particular that came to mind; Black Canary crying at Oliver Queen's tombstone. So in addition to showing the tough, fighter side of Black Canary (which we see in many Black Canary cosplayer's photo shoots), this shoot also got to show her vulnerable side."
