Hey there, Jenn marvel here. I caught up with Andrew of A.S Creations to talk about some of the nerdy things he makes. He's a very talented artist and, I find a lot of people ask me where I get things or how to make them, so I decided to show you a Canadian Artist who does just that, check it out!

What is A.S creations?
A.S Creations is a independent prop/replica making company I have been running the past 5 years. We specialize in prop production such as mask making. We are also able to provide restorations and custom work. All of our work is hand sculpted by artists, molded, cast and painted.
How did you get started?
I got started about 7 years ago. I was very much in to movie props and purchased an item online. I had the fortunate opportunity to meet the maker and was given the tools and guidance of how and what I needed to get started. since then, it has been a great journey and has become a passion. I have met a lot of wonderful people and great friends for which I am thankful.
Where are you located?
A.S Creations is located north of Toronto. We work out of a basement studio and garage however we are looking to expand to a bigger area in the new year (the monsters aren't to fond of the lower ceilings..)
What is your general price range?
We do a lot of custom work such as full body and head/face cast for masks and costumes. custom work can range in price generally from the 600 dollar mark to a few thousand depending on time and materials needed. Items that we usually bring to conventions such as masks and costume parts range from the 80- 300 dollar mark.
What services do you offer? (ie custom work specific material, genre)
Growing up in the 80s I find myself partial to the superhero genre as well as sci-fi. I find that a lot of my work is inspired by the comic superheroes and action figures on TV and film when I was a kid. We do a wide range of other genres as well for clients . One example is 8 ft star wars Wampa snow creature we created and upcoming full foam latex T.M.N.T suits
How many events do you generally attend?
Having the chance to take part in such conventions like fan expo, and comic con has really been a blessing. As I mentioned besides meeting great people, it has brought in a lot of business and opportunity for us. Therefore because of this we have our work in local Toronto and GTA stores such as Dragons Realm, Woodbridge Heroes, and The Malabar.
