Ninetails from Ōkami Cosplay

Shelle-chii is back with her amazing Ninetails from Ōkami cosplay! here's what she had to say...
"The video game Okami always held a certain allure to me because of it's unique art style. I unfortunately never finished it, as I lost access to a Wii before I could, but did enjoy the bits I played. When Evie E. asked me if i'd like to join her with a Ninetails to her Ammy, I jumped on the opportunity. This cosplay was a lot of firsts for me, and I learned so much from the whole process. It was the first cosplay collaboration I did with another cosplayer where we both worked on the cosplays, not just our individual ones. It was also the first time officially competing in a masquerade, and we actually won two awards for our workmanship and stage.
It took about 150+ hours to make, a lot of the time went to making the tail tips, which were made out of yarn that was brushed out. The masks are definitely my favorite part of the cosplay, especially the one on my head. That mask was my first time ever working with worbla, and it turned out amazing! The tails weigh about 35 pounds, it was a lot to carry around for the whole day, but I loved having so many tails! The sword turned out beautifully as well, that was made by Evie, as was the outfit itself. It was so awesome to be able to cosplay this with her!"
