Roxy Lee GG here with a spotlight on my friends company,
helloSKYWALKER! There are so many adorable pieces in her collection that I can never pick just one for myself. She has everything from picture frames to plaques to mirrors, boxes and necklaces and can take commissions for your favourite characters. Here is what Tristan had to say about her company and some photos of her amazing pieces that she offers;
"Hey everyone my name is Tristan and I started HelloSKYWALKER back in 2011. I found that I wanted an escape from working for someone else and an outlet for my creativity. Seeing as I have always been into comic books, and my one older brother owns a comic shop, doing something with comics was just an obvious choice, the wood aspect however came from my dad, he has always had a passion for wood working and wanted to help start this business with me. I started out by making myself a Jean Grey plaque on a scrap piece of wood and have since perfected the process and created so much more.
I have many different plaques available to order on my etsy shop, but I also take custom orders. So anything you can come up with, odds are I can do it and would be happy to at that. In the past I have done: Spawn, He-Man, Halo, Storm, Super Smash Bros, Buffy, Okami, Pin-up Girls, and many many others. I am constantly looking for new challenges and new concepts so feel free to message me for more info on what I can do for you. All items in my store are made-to-order and turnaround time is about 2 - 3 weeks :) Shipping generally takes 1-2 weeks. But if you need anything by a specific date just please let me know!
I have done a few conventions since I opened up my shop, Toronto FanExpo 2013 and Toronto Comicon 2014 were the biggest. I want to do as many cons as I can in the future. My next big one will hopefully be FanExpo 2014. Hope to see you all there!
