Rurouni Kenshin Cosplay
Photographer
The Art of Mezame created this incredible collaboration between Jas (as Himura Kenshin), Invinc (as Hajime Saito) and his awesome crew. Here's what he said about this mind-blowing shoot...
"What we've done is an attempt at recreating 2012's Rurouni Kenshin's main characters, Himura Kenshin and Hajime Saito. We've combined the elements of smoke, fire and water with the help of lots of coffee creamer and Super Soaker Barrage water guns/water pumps for the scenes.
Here are the photos of our labour of love. The last two images are part of our Behind-the-Scenes."
They are also involved with the Saving Eliza project for
Eliza's Story. It is an initiative that aims to help with the funding a clinical trial "to make the medicine, administer the treatment, and remain on schedule" to help children like Eliza who are suffering from Sanfilippo Syndrome, "a rare terminal genetic disease". You can buy a print of one of the photos from this shoot,
"Rurouni Kenshin - Kyoto Burning" here beginning at USD30 before shipping to help fund the clinical trials. You can also see other photography works by other artists around the world at
Saving Eliza and pledge your support by purchasing their prints too.
