Critical Miss and Retro Joad look crazy awesome as Sam and Sandy! Here's what Geek Girl Critical Miss said about their cosplay...

"Retro Joad and I were inspired by the Living Dead Dolls Rotten Sam and Sandy and we went to work putting these costumes together. We always have a blast when we wear them and the thing we love most about wearing them is fighting with each other like we are 5 year olds. We decided to do a shoot at Funhaven in Ottawa, a place with bowling games, basketball, rock climbing and laser tag to name a few. We invited a relatively new photographer to the scene in Ottawa named Alex Rose because we had seen some of her work that she had done with the charity organization The League of Superheroes. She captured some great images and we think we will be seeing more of her work in the future. These costumes were made mostly by us with found materials and minimal sewing to create the very fun costumes on a very low budget. Retro Joad spent many hours drawing the skulls on my dress and in return I modified the collar on his shirt and made his hat with a friend. We also like to use these costumes as an example that you do not have to spend excessive amounts of money to create accurate costumes. And we do have plans to bring more Living Dead Dolls to life."
