Asajj Ventress shoot! Here's what Kaydee said about this cosplay...
"Star Wars is one of my first geek loves and I have a passion for portraying characters from that universe. As a member of the Rebel Legion in Ottawa, I had a fantastic time attending a photoshoot organized by the wonderful Geek Girl Critical Miss and her hubby Retro Joad. Here I'm wearing my cosplay of Luminara Unduli from Star Wars: the Clone Wars.
I was first introduced to Jedi Master Luminara when I saw her in a couple of scenes in the movie Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones. I also admired her in the Clone Wars animated series, and was inspired by her strong character, exotic look and detailed costume.
To recreate her outfit, I made a longsleeve bodysuit and skirt from a textured leopard print fabric, worn over a black fitted shirt and leggings. The belts are leather with painted resin buckles. I made the sash and bracers out of vinyl painted with fabric paint, and the hat is constructed from a rigid cap and craft foam roll covered with brown fabric and ribbon trim."
