Jenny Burtory Bloody Roar Cosplay
Courtney Leigh looks amazing cosplaying as Jenny Burtory "The Bat" from the video game Bloody Roar! Here's what she said about it...
"Jenny Burtory was my favorite character from the Bloody Roar series growing up and when I finally decided to cosplay her I really had no idea what I was getting into! This project forced me to play around with materials I'd never worked with before. The bodysuit I made out of flesh toned lycra, which I airbrushed to match Jenny's beast form from Bloody Roar 2 (Yay for a new airbrush set!) I wanted to challenge myself and this costume definitely did that. The wings are made out of mask latex and then hand painted. The last step was the head dress, which I made out of plaster, a material I'm a bit familiar with. I molded everything by hand, basically making things up as I went, and fortunately it worked out! It's been one of my favorite and most educational projects yet :) I got to debut it for the first time at Dragon*Con 2013!"
