Dr. Harleen Cosplay
Geek Girl Zelda
looks awesome in her version of Dr. Harleen Quinzell! :D Here's what she said about this cosplay...
"I've always loved Harley (obviously) and have done several versions and remakes and original designs of her. I've never tried my hand at Harleen Quinzell though, so thought to give it a try. I actually had the lab coat from a Zoidberg cosplay I was working on, and put together the rest of the outfit out of stuff I had in my closet. It was nice to play a character where I could actually wear my glasses for a shoot, too :) A lot of people probably don't realize I wear them because I rarely have them on in photos. I really like Harley's origin story and it was fun to pay tribute to it (especially after seeing Roxy Lee's version!) I imagined her psychoanalyzing Joker (unseen in this photoshoot) and having him see only Batman related images in the Rorschach tests. I had fun making the inkblots the night before, I made a Joker, Batman cowl and Bat symbol along with some doodles on a doodlepad. I also had fun playing with shadows :)
The photographer was Specular Photography, this was our first shoot together. He had shown me photos of his studio beforehand and when I saw this set I knew it would be perfect for Harleys office. Never get sick of doing Harley shoots! Finishing 1 more now and I am sure there will be more in the future :)"
