Astrid & Hiccup from How to Train Your Dragon 3 Cosplay

 

The Geekstress looks wonderful cosplaying as Astrid from How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World and here's what she had to say...

"As soon as I saw the design of the dragon scale armor for How to Train Your Dragon 3, I knew I had to make it. I've really enjoyed this franchise, and this movie capped it off wonderfully. The armor was made entirely by me from EVA foam burned with a soldering iron, and both costumes took around 2 months to complete.

For the photo shoot we trekked up to Scott Falls in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, the landscape is perfect for simulating the viking wilderness! I may or may not have added the dragons in post ;).

Many thanks to my dad for being our photographer, and my mom for wrangling our kids while we climbed around rocks and over trees."
