Game of Thrones Cosplay Pin-Ups
Ginny Di made another sexy and cheeky pinup calendar this year! This time it's ladies of Game of Thrones themed and she did a fantastic job! Here's what she had to say say...
"To create this set of 13 pin-ups, I made a dozen new costumes from scratch over about three months. (The only costume I already had was Arya, whom I've been cosplaying for many years!) My fiancé helped me shoot all the photos, and then I edited them myself.
This was a way bigger undertaking than the Potter pin-ups were, because instead of just swapping out Hogwarts house ties and wigs, I had to create each look from the ground up! And of course, my natural overachiever instinct presented a problem, too... I did a bunch of ridiculous things that took up even more time, like hand-embroidering all the eyelets down the back of Brienne's dress (yes... the back. The part you can't see.) and sculpting Daenerys' dragon brooch even though I knew it would be hidden behind my hand in the photo.
I know I could've ordered half these costumes online, but crafting the costume is one of my favorite parts of cosplay, so I didn't want to skip that part for this project. In retrospect, I should've given myself more time... but it all worked out in the end!"
